About Culinaire

 

In September 2009 the idea of giving Victorian’s the opportunity to visit an abundant amount of our most unique eateries underneath one roof came to mind. It seemed a natural way to promote a local food scene that is so fantastic.

We thought about creating an environment where our guests could try foods from numerous places, learn about what they were tasting, where it came from, why it was made that way, and most importantly how they could find these restaurants so they could visit them again and again. We wanted an event that exposed Victorians to the best foods we have to offer so that restaurants had the chance to truly impress the locals and earn their business.

Culinaire is an event where restaurants and purveyors can showcase their product to those who have a love for great food and beverage. It is an opportunity to try new flavours and cooking methods, and explore restaurants and dishes you may have never known about. Culinaire is a food experience for all to enjoy, from the restaurant novice to the most refined foodie, for those who will eat anything, to those who want to try it for the first time. Inside the Crystal Garden awaits a friendly and hospitable environment for you to sample and enjoy the great cuisine our region produces.
